Zero Suit Samus owns you all.

Blaster Master was the best game ever made.

That's all I have to say about that.

I bought the blaster master novel from my schools library book store when I was 10. Loved that book and the game. The only other game I can think of that was remotely similar was the guardian legend.

I read that book too!!!!

Dude I remember that shit being dark for a kids book.
Like his mom gets turned into a chthonic type beast or something, and all sorts of terrible shit happens that the game kinda glosses over since it doesn't spend a ton of time on the story.

Yup! It was very dark. The Ninja Gaiden one was just as dark. It was a little better than the blaster master one. I'd kill for either on .pdf

Spontaneous orgasm

Men: Video games/electronic gadgets

Women: Clothing/shoes/occasionally fantastically cute animals

No matter who is doing it, it is both hilarious and frightening to listen to when it's done.

And now all I hear in my head is Robin Williams: Live on Broadway. "That is an ugly panda bitch. I wouldn't fuck that with a koala's dick."

Dammit, Panda. You triggered the derangement.

I really, really enjoyed Blaster Master. Except that weird part where could throw a grenade and then pause, but the explosion keeps doing damage to the boss. That was odd.

Hmmm sounds like a great idea for a new werewolf fetish... Keen Eyes pocket watch + Kate Walker's grenade...

Is it a bad thing that I get more excited over video games/electronic gadgets, than I do for the womens' selection...the only exception being the cute animals?

You save it all for your character acting. Lizzie is certainly the fashionista

I could never get in to Blaster Master in the same way I could never get in to Ecco the Dolphin - I never knew where to go to get the game started. I kind of just wandered around confused.

It always looked like so much fun though. I could just never figure it out.

South,

There were a lot of games that I played that I didn't 'get' until I came back and played them a few years later. Such as pretty much all the Castlevania games and Bionic Commando. Although I'm shamed to admit it, I didn't complete the first final fantasy game til about 3 years ago. I just got lost and stuck and completely lost interest. Same goes for Final Fantasy Tactics, I didn't figure that one out til I was in my late twenties..

Speaking of Castlevania... Sequelitis Time!

Yeah Blaster Master could be confusing, such is the case with open worlds.
Kids sometimes have a hard time finding that small little tunnel that you had to get through to head to certain parts of the game.

Really, if you played Metroid as a kid and beat it, it gave you the skills to play those other games, cuz it was way open.
You could wander into an area of the world without the right weapons and get just owned by the shit there.
Or you just put in the code to go Zero Suit and owned everything with freeze rays....

But Blaster master is still one of the best games ever.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Final Fantasy tactics
Blaster Master
Ocarina of Time
Maniac Mansion (yeah bitches you know you loved it!)

All classic greats

I think that's why I ended up gravitating towards more linear playing games, (linear platformers) and esp. the turned based RPGs like Final Fantasy. Survival horror games were great in the late 90's and early 00's as well.

(Confession: I've never finished any Final Fantasy before 7)
