Why is there no Garou from OWBN at NOLA? 'cause it sucks that only TGN has tried to put anything together.

OWBN = One World by Night
GOWBN = Garou One World by Night
TGN = The Garou Network, a network of Garou games that broke off from GOWBN
NOLA = New Orleans Louisiana, site of the Grand Masquerade, hosted by White Wolf, which is the awesome-sauce of parties. I'm not sure if I will actually be playing there, but going for the parties and fun. Open bars, with the big party being at the NOLA House of Blues (which apparently white wolf has rented out for us) on Saturday night. I went for the first one last year and it was amazing. This year promises to be even better.

yeah, it's a true gamer event, there's lots of booze and sex and naughtiness going on.

It's not terribly expensive, as events go!

Cleveland to Louisianna would cost me no less than 700$ for a long weekend. Gas Hotel, Booze, girls... ahem yeah.

Right, but most event games do end up running about that - and most of the booze is free if you wait for the WW parties

Getting a bunch of people together to play vampire in the mecca of vampire AND giving them free alcohol is the worst idea I could conceive of.

The only person I heard that was assaulting anyone was hauled away. All the gaming events (including baneklaive) involve lots of alcohol.

I tend to stay away from the big parties these days. Location is important though. I'm inclined to believe the crazy comes out more in an atmosphere like that. I'm sure Justin has already ranted on something like this though.

Sight seeing and relaxation is certainly > LARPing in that situation. So take lots of pictures.

Nonklaive didn't have alcohol 'cause it was a cheaper fee if they didn't allow it. But there was a lot of tastey food on Saturday.

I'm not planning on actually gaming - there's no owbn garou games happening. *LOL* I'm going to hang out with friends and party.

There is drinking that happens at non-klaive, just not openly or at the campsites.

Well, from what I hear, the vampire side of it was pretty awesome.

Garou... Not so much. I had lots of great soft role-play though.

There were lots of Wendigo though. Though MIO could have met Rends the Flesh from the Bones of Man.... who is also a Red talon ahroun with PB x 5 and huge size. >> <<
