Official Notice: OWbN Entry & New Rules [Natives & Travelers]

As part of One World by Night there are a new set of regulations in place for you. These regulations will be added to a House Rule packet in time, but until then please review the following before moving forward:

2. If you are having private communications with characters off of any IC List that is not listed on a Message Board, please be sure to CC: heartland-alliance-sts@googlegroups.com. This will ensure that all interaction is documented.

3. If you are active on a message board other than this one, please be sure to send heartland-alliance-sts@googlegroups.com a link to that scene. We like to keep tabs on our players and characters and will ensure that continuity will continue.


Travel Rules:

1. You are permitted to travel to other games in One World By Night. Please keep in mind that they do not necessarily need to accept you at the door, however you are eligible to participate.

2. If you are traveling more than 1 hour away for a game please notify us ahead of time. We require notice no later than 3 days prior to your intent to travel. This will provide us with time to send your sheet to their ST staff.

3. It is your responsibility to travel with a stamped copy of your Heartland Alliance character sheet. Please do not expect the intended game to be responsible for printing your character sheet.

4. If you travel to any game in the Org, please be sure to provide documentation of your visit. Either a stamped index card citing how many XP is recommended for your character or an e-mail with the same information from their staff.

5. If you are coming from a game that is not Heartland Alliance, we require you to send your sheet to us by 3 days before the game begins. Additionally, we also require any Talen/Fetish/Non-Dark Epic Weapons/Unusual Items to be documented with us prior to arrival. If we do not have this information within the time frame, please understand that we will reserve the right to red pen your character sheet and item cards if necessary for the balance of our game.


Item Cards:

1. If you are traveling to another game, please be sure that any applicable items have a Heartland Alliance stamp. We will not sign off on item cards on the spot in a different game.

2. If you receive item cards from games that are not Heartland Alliance while visiting, you are required to check them in with our staff. We will evaluate the item and advise you whether or not it is acceptable in our game. Please do not assume.

3. All Non-Heartland Alliance item cards will be questioned regarding origin when you provide them for game verification.

Working With Genre Coordinators/Tribal Narrators:

1. When you communicate with this staff via e-mail we are required to be CC'd on all communications. If you communicate with this staff regarding game items, and we are not involved, please expect disciplinary action.

2. If you opt for a live-chat and/or phone call with the staff, please do not assume that you have permission to go ahead with any plans/interactions that are determined in the course of that conversation. We require either a copy of the live-chat or a full disclosure of the phone call. We recognize that with availability of communication that methods other than E-Mail will be used. By being informed we are capable of assisting and directing PCs in a manner that will keep us in compliance with One World By Night. Violation of this will result in disciplinary action.

Sweet: Org communication. 193 players in the IC list

Not Sweet: 7 Red Talon players nationally. 6 posts in the last year on their board.

Question: I assume cubs will not be able to join a tribe group until ranking? Yes?

And when registering for these e-mail groups, do we need to mention our character name and chronicle? I assume yes, but I was just wondering if the cordinator for each tribe has been sent a list of each Garou from each tribe.

I'm also gonna send you another question about special approval sects within tribes too. But I'll save that for the ST list.

I think you need to pass unusual/rare stuff past Justin too. I think both the local ST and the org coordinator have to approve it.

Good looking questions! Cubs are generally not allowing on the tribal list until they are cliath.

When applying for those lists there is a box to add info that you think the moderator should know. I generally ask for PC name, tribe, breed, auspice, chronicle the PC is based out of, and st email address.

Also, depending on the tribe, certain sects/groups/camps may require Coord notification or approval. The Storytellers will have all of that information available.
