Quarantine Zone: Lima, Ohio

In the late evening of 07-16-11, a Quarantine Zone is set up over 1/3 of Lima, Ohio. Those wishing to travel through the zone should notify the STs at heartland-alliance-sts@googlegroups.com. Those wishing to effect this with influence should do the same. If your character lives in Lima, Ohio in a typical residence you are safe. If your character lives in an apartment in the heart of the city (and/or atop a storefront) please assume that you have been vacated to a fallout shelter turned gymnasium. Update:

With the morning of 07-28-11 a new day dawns upon Lima, Ohio. The quarantine zones are removed and by all appearances the roads have been repaired. However buildings are marked as damaged/condemned/slated for rebuild in the former area. Most residents are permitted to return, though the group still effected has been relocated to Defiance, Ohio to stay as their homes and stores are rebuilt.

The news outlets are reporting that there was a small tremor of an earthquake beneath the city. It apparently ruptured one of the primary gas lines and ignited a trail of destruction. The utlity company has proactively stepped up and is assisting the displaced individuals in Defiance, Ohio. Furthermore, they are providing 1 month free service to all residents in Lima, Ohio. There are funds set up for emergency situations and repairs.

All searches for the Bank Vault incident are found to find an article citing that the explosion blew the hinges off the vault as one of the criminals attempted to break into it. There is no video feed available.
