Possible foregone conclusion

Post by HST Justin on Wed Jan 19, 2011 6:11 pm

But I figured I'd throw it out there anyway:

Our app has been submitted for OWbN membership. But I realize that I did this without ever asking if you guys actually wanted to be members of the org. So, maybe you get that chance now.

While I'm not sure it's fair that Kasey gets one million votes, I'll add my single "yes" to that count as well.

Nothing ever said it was only one per person, so I stole them for Kasey and she filled 'em out.

As your fictional attorney I approve this course of action.

You're not s'posed to put your stamp of approval on him stealing!. You're supposed to slap his wrist, tell him not to do it again, then take him out and buy him a drink when he doesn't get in any trouble. Do it right!

I don't tell you how to do your fake job. Don't tell me how to do mine. Besides, the use of the word "stole" was a typo. It was clearly supposed to be "obtained."

*giggles* Well, don't we just sound like a buncha phonies. Fake jobs abound...And if that was a typo, he needs to fire his secretary...And btw...bad Philodox, no cookie! Condonin' breakin' the law...Tsk.

Sorry, my fake secretary was having trouble fake typing while I was fake railing her over my fake desk, in my fake office building in fake downtown.

She was already fake fired, and given fake cab fare. She is pretend on her way home now.

(Read it. Analyze it. See if the word 'fake' doesn't just sound weird now. Muahahaha linguistic psychological warfare.

Fake, fake, fake, fake.)

Hmm... Which fake argument should I go with?

Let's see.

We're on the OOC board so I'm just a fake instead of a Philodox and thus not bound by such things.

Or maybe...

As a Philodox I uphold Garou law, not man's law, so I'm neither a bad Philodox (since stealing isn't against Garou law) nor a bad fake lawyer (since I'm getting my client off the hook regardless of whether or not he did it).

I think I like the second one more.

And I believe you just got fake-served.

By the way, you're currently my favorite for today South.

Fake, fake, fake....You know, I typed this already...And, I seriously thought about making the secretary joke, but decided against it. Dammit, South. Why you gotta be like that. And, I did not just get served, cuz we're all a buncha fakes, remember? So that was sooo totally a fake serve on your part.

I said:

"And I believe you just got fake-served."

Then you said:

"So that was sooo totally a fake serve on your part."

You're basically arguing that instead of doing exactly what I said, I did excatly what I said.

The winner is me. cheers

Arf, arf, arf.

Being in character and off topic isn't quite as much fun for me as it is for those of you with linguistics.
