By Popular Demand - From Midwinter 2012 - Ryan's Ridicule

Post by Dresden St. Andrews on Mon Mar 12, 2012 4:50 pm

I kept forgetting about putting this up but people keep asking me to do it so I'm finally getting off my duff to do so now that I found the piece of paper I had this written down on.

For those who were not there the Sunday of Midwinter 2012, the finals of the 1v1 Tournament were about to get underway. The winner of one bracket ended up being Franklyn Worthington from Whispered Oaths. Ryan was ready to hype his Tribemate when the time came for the final showdown. Then the other bracket was resolved and Franklyn's opponent was slated to be Griffin Defoe. So here Ryan felt himself in a bit of a pickle as his Sept Leader was going to face a Tribemate. Ryan approached Griffin and offered to hype him as well. Griffin declined and said he would rather have Kate do it as it was 'her thing'.

So then came the final showdown and Griffin took the ring. Kate enlisted the assistance of Jacob, infamous Elder Ragabash, and using the Fetish he won from the Ragabash tournament Jacob shared Thousand Forms and turned he and Kate into dragons. There were pyrotechnics. There was a remixed song of "Momma Said Knock You Out" but instead of 'Momma' it said 'Falcon'. Fairly impressive.

Then Franklyn took his place in the fighting circle and Ryan stepped forth, pen and paper in hand. With a finger leveled towards the two dragon Ragabash he began.

"I am here to wreck the dream
of this weak-ass double team.
I am not about to believe the lingo
of these two lame-ass dingos."

He then gestured to Franklyn and called out for all assembled to hear.

"Now turn all your eyes to this center stage.
Here comes the Garou that is all the rage.
Look this way and let your eyes feast
upon this mighty beast from the East."

Ryan then proceeded to look to Griffin, who admittedly was a good sport when all was said and done.

"You will regret
facing off against 'Empty Set'.
You should decline
fighting 'Piggybacks the Porcupine'.
On this loss you can blame
the strength of 'Freeze Frame'.
Fool, you can not hide
from 'Turns the Tide'."

Once more Ryan gestures to Franklyn to continue the hype.

"Now comes the plight
of this 'Crusader's Light'.
He is here to deliver a mighty kick
to the ass of 'Hat Trick'.
You have no chance to be a survivor.
It's time for school and here is your bus driver.
He's rolled up from the Buckeye State
and now it is time to regulate.
So grab your ankles and get ready to get spanked, son.
Now entering the ring...FRANKLYN...WORRRRRRRRTHINGTONNNNNN!!!"

Then Ryan looked to Kate and Jacob and held out his arm towards them with pen in hand. He casually dropped the pen on the floor and walked away. Sad to say though Griffin defeated Franklyn. Yet I still felt compelled to purchase Ryan a level of Performance afterward.

Eh, I think Griffin said something like "I'll see you back home, champ." He may be a bit of a jock, but he's not a true bully Razz
