Thanksgiving at the Farm!

The Walkers will be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner and the entire Sept will be invited. Assume regular foods that are all local grow and purchased in an effort to support local farmers and business.

I figured a thread would be a little too crazy, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew they were invited. Even lupus!

Virgil will be there, thankful for forgiving Elders.

Ulysses sets up skeet shooting in the backyard. By the end of the affair, he is entirely inappropriate, firing semi-automatics at flying beer cans. He lets others handle some pretty amazing firearms, so long as they have a good attitude.

The Red Talon attends and will be pretty much be desperately searching for bacon for most of the gathering.

Lizzie will not be present as she'll be spending time with her family in Vermont for Thanksgiving, but will return promptly on 11/25 so as not to take too much time away from her sept duties.

Griffin stays at the caern on Thanksgiving Day running round the clock patrols. He expects two things on Black Friday. The freedom to sleep all day, and a portion of others' Thanksgiving dinner leftovers!

Reznik would remain at the caern also patrolling.

Vivian, in true Southern tradition, never sits still during the day. She helps to cook where she can, insists on making pecan (that's PEE-CAN not PI-KAHN) pie and loads of sweet tea. She'll cook up some blueberry crumble as well, the recipe courtesy of her Aunt Cric ("That's short for Christine, silly.") and her Aunt Teen ("No, the whole thing ain't 'Teen'. It's short for Celestine, of course!"). She makes sure a conscious Rickard is introduced to folks, and puts him in the kitchen making plates for Garou that can't be there if he starts getting edgy.

Viv will definitely introduce herself to Ulysses and bond with him over his plethora of guns. She's real comfortable with a shot gun, but knows what she's doing with any military arms. She encourages firing at beer cans, and in fact, will pick up her beer drinking so they have more empty cans to shoot.

Warren will be at the kids table with the other Kinfolk

He won't be pulling turkey spirits from the Umbra into the real? XD

Naw. As fun of a trick as that'd be, he's gotta be 'normal' sometimes.

Sundancer will show... There may be a Fuck Squanto comment or two always under the breath but never very clearly. He seems both more jovial and more... Manic than previously.

As a failure in the kitchen, and with the courts closed, Ty spends the earlier part of the day performing Guardian duties and helping to patrol. Around 3:00 he heads over to the farm to join in the food and fun. Many guns are fired with Uly and Viv. He also seems very pleased to see Sundancer joining in the festivities, happy to ignore the unclear muttering in favor of the good faith in which he hopes the Wendigo came.

Rune and Chione would show up! hooray for having been forced to sleep on the drive up. (LAWL)

Kate will try and help with a bunch of the cooking, but will most likely get run out of the kitchen after continually trying to "sample" everything.

She engages in conversation with anyone who looks like they might not be having fun. She will spend time watching the Cowboys/Dolphins game. There will be lots of yelling and throwing of things.

During the beer shooting, get will most likely have a little too much to drink and pull out a special case of what she calls "beer water" so they can shoot full cans.

Gus will not be there.

Because crime never sleeps.

Anselm will have spent the days leading up to the feast hunting deer and turkey for the Sept. He has his fill of way too much food and drink and shares similar sentiments on the game as his sister. Hundreds of rounds will be used by the collective. It will quickly turn to thousands once the automatic weapons make their way out of the cases. There are tipsy promises of a 40mm for next year.

Kuhane will be there. She'll engage in all of the gun fun. She'll probably also be shooed out of the kitchen for the same reasons that Kate is. While she doesn't fully understand the reason behind it, she'll make certain that Makes Insides Outside is well supplied with bacon.
